Exar is born as a company specialising in the import/export of relaxation appliances: a range of massage chairs at first, followed by musical chairs, saunas, mini swimming pools, spas, bithermal Scottish showers, all aimed primarily at customers of the Hospitality and Spa industry and only peripherally for the private sector. First approach towards the medical oxygen market, with oxygen generator.

1994 > 2001
The oxygen generator is key in the development of a revolutionary idea: oxygen as a product for pleasure, wellbeing and entertainment. Starting from the small and restricted market of oxygen for medical applications, where the use of oxygen bottles is still prevalent, exar develops its oxygen systems for a healthy life centred on the oxygen generator which is capable of a constant production of pure oxygen at 90 ± 3%. The first Oxygen Bar dates back to 2001. At the same time exar updates and expands its website www.oxysystems.net

Exar’s oxygen systems evolve in more directions: oxygen to inhale; oxygen to breathe with added aromatherapy scents and fragrances; oxygen to spray: to pour onto skin alongside specialist beauty products; oxygen to spray onto the scalp for healthy hair; to combine with chromotherapy sessions... At the same time there is an increase in the different types of users and of uses. And in 2005 the first Exar stores begin trading, real showrooms and examples of Exar’s significant world presence.
